So, you've found the course you want to study but for those
of you who require funding, where to start?
Listed on these pages are a number of funding providers
compatible with the study of development related subjects or who specify
no particular preference for an area of study.
They are listed alphabetically, and a number of the institutions
participating in this Guide, that provide courses, also provide funding
for them. It is worth checking with them for any such schemes as a routine
part of your enquiries.
Many cater for overseas students as well as those from the
UK. A special emphasis has been placed on funding opportunities for those
students from developing countries.
This list is by no means exhaustive and is difficult to
keep up to date, but it does provide a starting point and gives an idea
as to the levels of funding available. You will need to contact each funding
provider for full details of criteria and application procedures, not
the DSA!
