Leadership, Learning and Climate Change: The Sustainability Revolution
This module will develop your understanding of climate change and the implications for our future ways of learning, living and being on this planet. It will explore a range of leadership models and enable participants to engage with the organisational and behaviour change that is needed to address the challenges of sustainability.
By flexible/ distance learning
All assessment is by coursework
Each module costs £600 each (inclusive - see below)
You will be provided with:
- an excellent set of teaching materials(Study Guide and Readings)
- access to VLE, on line activities and the global online learning community
- connections with sustainability organisations in the UK and across the globe
- tutoring and Introductory Dayschool at LSBU
- the option of continuing with the MSc Education for Sustainability
- The module provides credits towards the MSC / PG diploma/ PG Cert in Education for Sustainability
The Education for Sustainability programme, launched in 1994 at London South Bank University with the support of environmental and development NGOs, has been a pathfinder in its field. The programme offers a range of challenging and innovative courses to enable you to explore the role that education for sustainability can play in social, political and economic change. It is recognised nationally and internationally by organisations such as UNEP and UNESCO for its contribution to the field and is enriched by a wide diversity of students from many global regions.
