The Erasmus Mundus Masters Course "European Master in Applied Ecology" (EMMC-EMAE), is an exciting programme where students will have the opportunity to develop networks with at least three different University environments and three EU cultures.
With the support of European commission, the course plans to form specialists able to develop and lead ecological projects throughout the world by providing them with a wide range of competences and skills, completed by a professional specialisation in one of several leading fields of Ecology (Conservation, Toxicology, Functional ecosystem dynamics, Evolutionary ecology, Environmental sciences).

The course is offered in partnership with the University of East Anglia (UK), University of Poitiers (France), University of Coimbra (Portugal), and Christian-Albrechts-Universitat in Kiel (Germany).
During the first year of the programme students will attend courses in two different countries. During the second year students will choose to be based in one of the EMAE Universities according to their specialisation. Fieldwork for the dissertation can be undertaken in a number of different and exciting locations around the world.
Scholarships
A number of Scholarships are available for this course:
· 8 scholarships available for EU students
· 10 scholarships for non-EU students
· 2 scholarships for students from the Western Balkans and Turkey.
