MSc / Diploma in Management (Development Policy)
Centre for Development Studies (CDS), University of Glasgow

The MSc in Management (Development Policy) is organised jointly by the Centre for Development Studies and the Department of Business and Management. It is designed for those seeking to develop a career in management in development-related organisations, such as government agencies, non-government organisations and multilateral donors. The MSc programme comprises four core modules, three from the Department of Business and Management and one from the Centre for Development Studies; two optional modules from a choice of development-oriented options; a programme of research training; and a dissertation. The Diploma in Management (Development Policy) places less emphasis on research training than does the MSc programme, but will, nonetheless, provide a thorough grounding in management techniques and methods of analysis, and their applications to development policy issues.
