Public Economic Management and Finance
International Development Department (IDD), University of Birmingham
Our Public Economic Management and Finance programme is based on our conviction that economic concepts are easily grasped and applied when approached practically. It works from the macro level down to the sectoral and firm level in order to build your confidence as an economist. It explores practical techniques of economic management and financial analysis, economic data (you are encouraged to use data from your own country), report writing, and presentation. The emphasis of this programme is on making policy and strengthening economic management capacity.
