BA Hons International Development (L921)
University of East Anglia: School of International Development
This degree introduces contemporary issues in international development with a social science perspective. In Year 1 students take Introduction to Development Studies alongside Data in Development Studies and Key Skills for Development Studies, then follow 2 main themes chosen from: Natural Resources; Economics for Development; or Social Anthropology, Politics and International Development. In Year 2 students continue with their chosen 2 main themes in addition to a choice of Topical and Regional courses. In Year 3 students write a Dissertation (research project) on a development topic of personal interest and have further choices from Topical and Regional courses.

Entry requirements
All candidates must hold 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths and English.
