IIED
IIED’s programme on Corporate Responsibility for Environment and Development (CRED) works through research projects, partnerships and capacity-building initiatives to build and drive forward the agenda on corporate citizenship for environment and development in the South. A focus on corporate responsibility (CR) in middle and low income countries informs all of our work – whether by introducing southern perspectives to the largely northern-dominated CR agenda, or by taking our understanding of the northern agenda to our southern partners to enable them to engage more effectively in shaping the terms of the debate.
Major thematic priorities:
Development aspects of corporate responsibility
Building effective southern stakeholder engagement
Bringing government into the agenda
