James Hutton Institute
The James Hutton Institute brings together the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute and the Scottish Crop Research Insitute to combine existing strengths in crops, soils and land use and environmental research.
It is the first Institute of its type in Europe and will make major, new contributions to the understanding of key global issues, such as food, energy and environmental security.
