Development and Change Virtual Issues - Unsettled Debates in Development

The construction of a digital archive going back to the very first issue of Development and Change makes ‘virtual issues’ a possibility. The editorial board of Development and Change has decided to use this space to return to key issues in development thinking that have been discussed in the journal in the past but which remain important and ‘unsettled’ today. The format for these virtual issues can vary widely. We begin with an almost conventional ‘special issue’ format, comprising nine previously published articles together with a new editorial introduction, but some issues will bring together only a few key papers from the digital archive.
