Ageing & Development
PLEASE NOTE: CHANGE OF DATE FOR NEXT WORKSHOP
The group encourages research and discussion on issues including: ageing, poverty and well-being; inter-generational transfers, pensions and households; public policy towards older groups; work and retirement; health and ageing; household structure, living arrangements, and ageing.
The next workshop will be held as part of a wider event organised by the Joint Research Council New Dynamics of Ageing Programme. The meeting will showcase the findings of two projects funded by this programme:
1) Ageing, poverty and neoliberalism in urban south India.
2) Ageing, wellbeing and development. A comparative study of Brazil and South Africa.
The workshop will be held in London in either December or January 2011.
