6-8 July 2022: Online Conference at University College London

Just sustainable futures in an urbanising and mobile world

Justice and equity, just futures in an urbanising and mobile world, facing a climate and ecological crisis in a pandemic or post-pandemic context

DSA2022: Virtual book exhibitors

The DSA2022 annual conference will take place again as a virtual online conference over three days, 6-8 July 2022, and is likely to attract around 500 delegates, comprising both academics from development studies and practitioners and consultants from NGOs, thinktanks, government and elsewhere.

This year, there will not be an online conference platform; rather delegates will navigate the event via the conference website and in and out of Zoom rooms. The only additional app will be Discord for direct messaging/chatting and community chats.

This year we offer three main options for exhibitors:

A) Access to Discord

  • Discord is an online app that allows you to chat directly with delegates who are logged into Discord,
  • You can chat either by text or video.
  • The app sends you audible and visual notifications if someone messages you, so the app can be running in the background allowing your representative to work on other things during quiet periods of the conference (e.g during panels).
  • Please note, no direct training will be provided, we will send you a Discord invite link to follow to create your own Discord account and be linked to the Discord conference server ahead of time. We will also share with you Discord’s online help and guides.
  • Fee includes attendance for 1 representative to attend the full conference.

Fees: Publisher members: £60 | Publisher non-members: £100 | Premium members: £40 | Institutional members: £45 | Institutional non-members: £65 | NGO members: £40 | NGO non-members: £45

B) Website advert banner

  • Name of your company and logo displayed on the exhibit page of the conference website
  • Comprises of: one banner image and one URL taking delegates to one website address of your choosing.

Fees: Publisher members: £40 | Publisher non-members: £65 | Premium members: £30 | Institutional members: £35 | Institutional non-members: £45 | NGO members: £30 | NGO non-members: £35

C) Marketing email to delegates

  • One promotional email from your company sent to all conference delegates by the conference organisers.
  • Sent to delegates the week before the conference begins. Please provide your email in HTML format if possible.

Fees: Publisher members: £40 | Publisher non-members: £65 | Premium members: £30 | Institutional members: £35 | Institutional non-members: £45 | NGO members: £30 | NGO non-members: £35
