Resources on the Gaza humanitarian crisis

The Development Studies Association are compiling a list of resources to:

  • aid those who seek a better understanding of the current situation including the historical and political roots of this crisis
  • to highlight research by Palestinian academics
  • to support academics in countries who are speaking out on Gaza but facing restrictions on academic freedom of expression
  • highlight initiatives in the UK that exist to support Palestinian academics

The list below, while not exhaustive, includes a range of recently published resources from our members and development centres. Researchers working in this area who wish for their work to be added should email the Communications officer. Suggestions on how to improve this resource are also welcome.

Our membership directory allows anyone to search for those who focus on the Middle East or peace and conflict.

Academic accountability

The Accountability Archive: a crowdsourced record of journalists, politicians, and public figures endorsing or encouraging the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and/or defaming pro-Palestinian activists.
