The Centre for the Study of Global Development (CSGD) has launched a podcast miniseries in collaboration with the Sex, Research and Resistance podcast. The podcast aims to create a space for practitioners, researchers and activists to learn more about key issues on reproduction, sexualities and sexual health.

The podcast series is based on seminars held by the research group with topics including LGBTIQ rights, abortion, youth, HIV and sexual health. The series explores CSGD research on stigma, social determinants of health, and girls’ transition to adulthood. The miniseries aims to raise awareness and spark conversations on global development issues. Listen to the CSGD podcast miniseries.

Policy Briefs

Prof Rosina Marquez-Reiter has published a new policy brief on public vending in Latin America and how to support public space vendors. Read: Invisible livelihoods in the Global South: public space vendors’ plight of making a living.

CSGD Policy Briefs offer concise summaries of research and policy recommendations based on relevant findings. CSGD Positioning Papers present a position or research agenda on an issue pertinent to global development and human wellbeing. CSGD Research and Evidence papers present early findings from members’ research projects. Read them all here.
