- Pritish Behuria, along with Andy Sumner, published ‘Middle-Income Trap or Neoliberal Trap? Industrial Policy and Ideology in the World Development Report 2024‘ in Development and Change.
- Lawrence Ado-Kofie, Osman Ouattara, and Abiola Olatunji have published a paper on ‘Infrastructure and Poverty Traps’ in Poverty and Public Policy.
- Mohammed Ibrahim published a co-authored article with Jihye Kim and Wendy Olsen (SOSS, UoM) on ‘Teenage Pregnancy and Adolescents’ Attitudes Toward Marriage and Pregnancy in Ghana’ in Children & Society. The paper draws on a behavioural change intervention and impact study supported by Good Neighbours UK and the University of Manchester-International Science Partnerships Fund. Ghanaian media have reported that the project – alongside interventions by other stakeholders – has contributed to a significant decline in teenage pregnancy in the study area.
