Historic event marks Caribbean commitment to empowering communities in development

In October 2025, the Caribbean Development Bank launched its first online community engagement course at an historic event attended by 410 participants from 30 countries. Co-created with CIDT, the five-module self-paced course equips practitioners with practical skills to strengthen community involvement throughout the project cycle, including specialized content on engaging Indigenous and Tribal communities. The launch was celebrated as a commitment to innovation and people-centred development across the Caribbean region. Read more and watch the launch video summary

Tailored Training Strengthens Social Protection Expertise

We delivered bespoke training on the Logical Framework Approach to Development Pathways, a leading social protection consultancy. The two-day workshop equipped participants with results-based planning tools through interactive exercises centered on real-world social protection challenges. Participants praised the collaborative, hands-on approach that allowed them to immediately apply their learning to practice. Read full details

Building Programme Management Capacity at the Council of Europe

Since September 2024, CIDT has partnered with the Council of Europe to deliver in-house training on Programme Management Methodology and Risk Management for staff across Country Offices and Headquarters. The collaboration also includes technical support to strengthen human rights approaches and develop sector-based common indicators, enhancing how Europe’s leading human rights organisation measures and delivers project results across its 46 member states.
