Are you preparing to submit your first journal article but are not sure what editors are looking for or how to make your work stand out?

Whether you’re writing for Development in Practice or any other scholarly journal, this session will provide valuable insights into what makes a strong submission and what common pitfalls to avoid.

Presenters:

  • Patrick Kilby – Editor in Chief, DiP
  • Joyce Wu – Deputy Editor, DiP

  • Emily Finlay – Managing Editor, DiP

Together, Development In Practice’s experienced editorial team will share practical advice on:

  • Structuring a pitch for your journal article
  • Understanding the peer review process
  • Avoiding common mistakes in submissions

The session will include time for Q&A, so bring your questions and join the conversation.
