This coming UK autumn, we’ll be holding an online election for Global South DSA members. The election will select a new representative to succeed Tuesday Gichuki, who has completed two impactful terms on the Council as one of the Global South representatives.

In the coming weeks, DSA will post the call for nominations on our website, including details on eligibility criteria, the nomination process, and the role’s terms of reference.

In the meantime, we wanted to give you advance notice about this upcoming election. If you are a DSA Global South member and are considering nominating yourself or someone else, you can start preparing your biography and nomination pitch now.
