The Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and the University of Oxford’s TIDE Centre invite scientists, entrepreneurs, startups, and interdisciplinary teams from Latin America and the Caribbean to apply to the Nature’s Intelligence Ideathon. Applications close 26 April.
Chasing Freedom – one of the ‘most anticipated books of 2026’
Foreign Policy has named Chasing Freedom: Coming of Age at the End of Empire by Professor Simukai Chigudu as one of the 30 biggest book releases in foreign affairs, history, and political science in 2026. Published by The Bodley Head in March, it is available for pre-order here. Simukai will be launching the book at ODID on Tuesday 3 March, 5.15pm.

International Online School in Forced Migration
The Refugee Studies Centre runs the International Online School three times a year. The School brings together practitioners, policymakers, and academics from across the world.
