Events from LIDC – March 2022

Events

In case you missed it – watch past LICD events on demand.

LIDC ROUNDTABLE ON ENVIRONMENTAL AMR
The World Health Organization has declared that antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the top 10 global public health threats facing humanity. By 2050, 10 million people will die each year from infections that can no longer be treated, unless we take urgent and coordinated action to stem the rising tide of antimicrobial resistance, both in humans and animals. In this event, LIDC will bring together AMR experts from leading institutions researching, monitoring and tackling AMR globally. GENDER AND POWER: AN EVENT FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
This event marks #IWD2022. All women – from across the spectrum – and allies are invited to join LIDC on 8 March to hear from inspiring women academics and activists about work being done around the world to empower women to continue our work for real gender equality, because we know that such work benefits us all. A recording of the event will be available shortly, access it via this link.
